Your Journey

Couples Counselling to Help You Reconnect and Move Forward

Every relationship goes through challenges. Whether you’re feeling disconnected, stuck in repeated patterns, or finding communication difficult, couples counseling offers a supportive space to better understand each other and navigate things together.

How We Support You

How Counselling Can Support Your Mental Wellbeing

You don’t need to be in crisis to seek support. Many couples come to counseling simply to better understand each other and build a stronger, more supportive connection.

  • \
Struggling to communicate without tension or misunderstanding
  • \
Feeling emotionally distant or disconnected from each other
  • \
Experiencing recurring arguments or unresolved conflict
  • \
Navigating a major life change together
  • \
Trying to rebuild trust or work through challenges
  • \
Wanting to strengthen your relationship in a meaningful way

Feeling Overwhelmed

When Communication Starts to Break Down

Even in strong relationships, there can be times where communication becomes difficult. Conversations may turn into arguments, things go unsaid, or it starts to feel like you’re no longer on the same page.

Over time, this can create distance, frustration, or a sense of disconnectionespecially when both of you are trying, but things don’t seem to improve.

Couples counselling offers a space to slow things down and step out of these patterns.

It’s not about placing blame or deciding who is right. It’s about creating a supportive environment where both of you can feel heard, understood, and better equipped to move forward together.

“With the right support, meaningful change is possible.”

Our Approach

A Compassionate, Personalised Approach

No two people experience mental health challenges in the same way, which is why every counselling journey is tailored to your unique circumstances.

Using evidence-based therapeutic approaches, Marie works collaboratively with you to understand your experiences, identify meaningful goals, and develop practical strategies that create lasting emotional wellbeing.

Our focus is not simply managing symptoms but helping you build confidence, resilience, and a healthier relationship with yourself.

A Balanced and Supportive Approach

Marie brings over 17 years of experience in social work, supporting individuals and families through complex and often challenging circumstances.

Her approach to couples counselling is grounded in respect, balance, and understanding. She creates a calm and supportive space where both individuals feel heard, without judgement or taking sides.

Drawing on her background in advocacy, Marie considers not only the relationship itself, but also the individual experiences, environments, and challenges each person brings into it.

The focus is on supporting both of you in building clearer communication, deeper understanding, and meaningful progress together.
